El tubo capilar con código de color rojo es un dispositivo de micro-recolección que contiene heparina sódica liofilizada uniformemente en sus paredes internas. Este anticoagulante evita que la muestra de sangre se coagule inmediatamente después de la toma, lo que lo hace indispensable para la prueba de microhematocrito y el análisis de gases en sangre capilar directamente desde la punción.
