El tubo de recolección al vacío con tapón amarillo es un dispositivo diseñado para la obtención de suero. Contiene un activador de coagulación (sílice) que acelera el proceso de formación del coágulo y un gel de polímero en el fondo que, tras la centrifugación, actúa como una barrera física separando el suero de las células sanguíneas. Esto garantiza que la muestra sea estable y esté libre de contaminación por el sedimento celular.
