Solución reactiva al 5% utilizada principalmente en laboratorios clínicos para la prueba de Thevenon, que permite detectar sangre oculta en heces (sangre oculta gastrointestinal). Al reaccionar con la hemoglobina, produce un cambio de color que indica la presencia de sangre. Producto de uso diagnóstico médico en laboratorios.
